The Catalyst Group is looking for an experienced Senior RMA Planner/Policy Practitioner to join our team.

We seek expressions of interest from strong critical thinkers who enjoy a fast-paced work environment and are focused on delivering positive outcomes for the environment and our clients. We are looking for someone with a solid planning or policy background, with experience in RMA processes, iwi and hapū partnerships, stakeholder consultation, consenting strategy and/or policy analysis and development; and who has an understanding of the value of technical and scientific concepts in informing evidence-based approaches to decision-making.

We are a small, but a creative and high-performing team with expertise across policy, planning, biodiversity, water quality, land management, and conservation science. We work with an active network of collaborators including researchers, lawyers, scientists, and other practitioners to deliver innovative, practical, evidence-driven solutions to complex natural resource management and conservation challenges across Aotearoa. Our clients include iwi, environmental groups, local and central government, and landowners.

Our company has offices in Palmerston North and Wellington. However, a number of our team work from home and we will always look for ways to make this work. We know our remuneration packages are competitive for top operators and we always recognise outstanding performance.
